Thanks for visiting my site.
For the last couple of years I have been freelancing as a UX designer. I have been fortunate to work on a variety of projects from e-commerce, apps, cruise ship service design, dashboards etc
Freelancing has given me the opportunity to work in different countries with some amazing teams and adapt and negotiate with new stakeholders. What remains the same is my intention to find the route of the problem to be solved, gathering as much evidence and insight as I can before delivering on a solution.
How I like to work
Understanding the reasoning behind why the brief/problem to be solved. Learning about the business workings, the current insights they have towards the brief/problem and ultimately what the business is aiming for and where the brief fits in to that strategy.
Gathering as much data about the user base and the business through quantitive and qualitative data to understand the problem areas in detail. Investigating the competitor landscape. Building the layers of a hypothesis and how we will measure success.
Creating an iterative design or improvement that meets user and business needs. Developing a design vision that goes from MVP to strategic goals.
It’s important to validate designs and their assumptions early and often to prevent wasted resource and effort time.
Having defined what success looks like, how well is the design doing? This can be both quantitatively and qualitatively tested.
A first round design will never be perfect so it is here where we iterate and start the cycle again
Outside of work
I enjoy meeting new people, it's shaped the direction of my professional life but also my personal. In between contracts you will find me traveling, diving, trying my hand at photography and failing at Spanish.
